Meet The Team

Ryan Yates
Founder & CEO
Ryan has 7 years of STEM Outreach experience, where he has created, managed, and delivered a variety of projects within education institutions across the UK.
​
His favourite F1 team is McLaren, and his favourite driver is Lando Norris.
​
Ryan leads the IDACI team, and is responsible for defining and implementing the company's strategic aims and objectives

Matt Whittenham
Director of IDACI Hub
Matt has been a STEM Ambassador for the past 5 years, and is passionate about promoting STEM to the next generation of talent. He successfully fulfilled a role as a Relationship Manager between a leading education provider in Hampshire and Europe's biggest defence company.
​
Matt is a keen karter, having raced in the British Universities Racing Championship, and now races in the Club 73 Championship.
​
Matt is responsible for developing, refining, and delivering IDACI Hub (our mtorsport club) liaising with external partners to ensure a memorable motorsport and STEAM experience for all.

MEET THE TEAM IN PERSON...

Hollie-Mai Simmonds
Head of Events Development & Delivery
Hollie adds a wealth of knowledge and experience in live events production to IDACI Motorsport.
​
Hollie studied Stage and Production Management at the Backstage Academy, and was a Producer for the Rugby League World Cup! She is also a keen karter, and competes in the TeamSport Karting Girls on Grid series.
Hollie assists the team to create and deliver immersive and engaging grassroot motorsport events, which epitomise the IDACI values.
Donovan Dyer
Race Engineer & Technologist
Donovan is a driver in the Motorsport UK Academy Enhanced DiSE Programme with a passion for product design, and previous experience of racing RC cars in his country of birth, Bermuda.
​
Donovan is also part of the Kimura Racing sim racing academy, and has extremely strong results from his time in Mini Max and Junior Max karting, landing best Mini Max novice in the Clay Pigeon Karting Championship, and top 10 in the Junior Max class.
​
Donovan works in the Race Engineering & Technologists team, designing components and systems to support the development of our race championships and events.


Jacques Bonnefoy
Race Engineer & Technologist
Adding a passion for product design and applied physics to the team, is Jacques Bonnefoy. Jacques develops detailed designs for complex systems, which supports our engineering and technology programmes associated with our race championships and events.
​
Jacques has been the lead engineer on multiple projects, and led his team to strong on-track success in the Greenpower Formula 24 Challenge.
